COVID-19 Health and Safety Resources

WE’RE BACK!  Tours begin April 10, 2021

We are thrilled to be hitting the pavement again, showing off the cuisine that Gettysburg is known for.  While some aspects of dining and touring may be a little different due to CDC rules,  the food traditions we love are stronger than ever.

Here are our available tours:

  • Historic Downtown Food Tour
  • Grape Escape Wine Tour (starting soon!)
  • Farmer’s Market Tour & Cooking Class
  • Field To Fork Agritourism Experience

Your health is our top priority, and we have put special measures in place to keep all guests safe both during and after your activity.

Stringent Cleaning

Our restaurant partners have increased the frequency of disinfecting surfaces and high traffic areas between each tour, and hand sanitizer will be available during the tour to all of our guests. Just ask your tour guide.

Masks

All customers are required to wear masks for the food tour. Masks are required while entering, exiting, or otherwise traveling throughout the restaurant or retail food service business. Face coverings may be removed while seated. Individuals who cannot wear a mask due to a medical condition (including children under the age of two years per CDC guidance) are not required to wear masks and are not required to provide documentation of such medical condition.

Social Distancing

Guests will stay at a safe 6-foot distance during all points of the tour. We also ensure that all staff members will be wearing the necessary PPE. A maximum of four customers that have a common relationship may sit together at a table, while adhering to the physical distancing guidelines or barriers between other customers.

Wellness Checks

Employees receive wellness checks to ensure they are healthy and symptom-free. If you or anyone in your group is experiencing symptoms, we will work directly with you to reschedule your tour.
